About Honey

Honey is a 2-year-old pocket pittie, weighing just 40 lbs of pure love and cuddles! She's good with kids but would do best with older, calmer kids (10+) who can match her gentle energy. She's also 100% potty-trained and crate-trained-what more could you ask for?! Honey does well with other dogs but can get a little nervous sometimes. She would thrive as the only dog in the home, but could also have some doggie playdates-with slow introductions to new, submissive friends. She would love a fully fenced yard where she can zoom, play, and just be her silly, happy self. Even though Honey is on the final stretch of her heartworm treatment (just ONE month left until she kicks those nasty things to the curb for good!), you'd never know it-this girl is absolutely bursting with playful energy, joy, and the best snuggles ever. Honey is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. She's not a fan of big crowds and would be happiest with a buddy who enjoys peaceful park hikes before the hustle and bustle starts. She's a sweet soul and a truly good dog-she's just had a rough start to life. Honey needs someone who will understand that and help her continue to build her confidence, slowly introducing her to new experiences a little at a time. All Honey needs is a chance-and a forever home filled with patience, love, and understanding.
