About Maverick

Meet Maverick - a 6 year-old Pomsky mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome boy loves to 'talk,' play tug-of-war, catch, and go for car rides. He's great on a leash and would happily spend his day running and playing in the yard. Maverick enjoys roughhousing with his doggie friends, but he does need the occasional reminder to keep it gentle. Because of this, he'd do best in a home with a confident, playful dog around his size or larger. He's also more comfortable around older kids, as fast and unpredictable movement can make him nervous. This smart guy is doing great with house manners - he'll let you know when he needs to go outside by barking or ringing bells. After a full day of fun, he's happy to snuggle up on the couch (even with the cat!) before heading to his crate for a good night's sleep. Maverick would love a calm foster or adoptive home without young children, where he can fully relax and thrive.
