About CHER

During one of our feeding sessions, we spotted Cher from a distance at one of our food stations located on the South East Side of Bakersfield, nestled within the orchards that have unfortunately become a common dumping ground for abandoned dogs. Her timid nature caused her to flee before we could approach, leaving us concerned for her safety. A few weeks later, we caught sight of her again, this time in heat, at one of the sparse houses in the same desolate area. The circumstances were far from ideal, as she was still surrounded by the isolation of the countryside. Recognizing the urgency of her situation, we managed to secure her, and she is now safely under our care, where we can provide her with the love and attention she desperately needs. Cher is an incredibly affectionate dog who thrives on human interaction and has a friendly demeanor that allows her to get along well with dogs of all sizes. Her gentle nature and playful spirit make her an ideal candidate for families seeking a devoted and loving furry friend.
