NICO is 100% adorable and still looking for his forever home! NICO is a 3-year-old, 13-pound cutie who's somehow still waiting for his perfect match! This little guy is the full package: he's sweet, snuggly, playful, and has the best bug- and lizard-catching skills around! NICO walks beautifully on a leash and doesn't react to other dogs while out and about. At home, he's a cuddle bug who's happy to sleep in bed with you or right nearby in his own little spot. He absolutely thrives with a dog buddy and a securely fenced yard where he can explore, run zoomies, and play a never-ending game of fetch. He'd love a home with kids, especially ones who'll throw the ball for him. NICO came to rescue unsure about going outside and not potty trained, but he's come a long way! He now uses a potty pad reliably and has very few accidents, unless it's raining. (Let's be honest, who likes going potty in the rain?) If you're looking for a loving, playful, and cuddly companion-and you've got another small dog at home and a fenced yard, NICO may be the perfect match! NICO has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally.
