About Joan - Urgent!

Update: We rescued her before she could be euthanized & is with a temporary foster till she gets her own home. Meet beautiful five year old, 83 lb spayed JOAN, a smart and friendly German Shepherd who is available to adopt. I had the pleasure of getting to know her today. The reason she is so overlooked is that her kennel presence is not very impressive, she barks at people walking by (me included, which is why I never bothered to get to know her!) But since @laanimalservices and the @mayorofla seem to have no problem killing LA's city shelter dogs, JOAN needs to exit ASAP before they assign her a 'deadline' because of what they like to label 'FAS' ('fear and stressed') as a common excuse to execute. The benefits of adopting an adult dog include often house-trained (Joan is!), know some commands and she enjoys her humans. Playgroup notes mentioned her play style as 'Gentle Dainty.' Please come meet JOAN. Come ask one of our wonderful volunteers wearing navy blue shirts in the kennels to meet her: not in her kennel but in a play yard so you can see her magic!
