I rescued this little guy along with a Rottweiler. The Rott found a new home & this little guy is lost without her. He (Hobo) is a great watch dog but is very friendly with others (family & friends) He does need manners training. His bones were sticking out everywhere & I am working on fixing that, but the Rott wouldn't let Hobo have any food so he is quite emaciated. I HAVE TO GO on extended out of state trip in a couple of weeks & Hobo NEEDS A HOME or PLACEMENT before then. I don't want to turn him into the local kill shelter. They are full & overflowing & I know what will happen to him. In addition since his 'protector'/the rott left, he is now shy & not nearly as outgoing, but still friendly. I can see signs that he is starting to find his confidence (without the rott) again...slowly, but has a way to go. On top of the trauma he is dealing with now, add to that the trauma of being 'housed' at the kill shelter. I've seen it happen to many dogs. If they are not strong & outgoing (personality & emotionally) a lot of them will go down hill & become even more reticent...giving them the label of 'unadoptable'...which leads them to be killed. It's really sad! My only option is to turn him loose again...but his survival chances now (being he has lost his confidence) are not good. BUT I CANNOT & WILL NOT KEEP HIM! PLEASE HELP HOBO!!!
