Meet Nanook-a sweet pup with short legs and a big heart! He's a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he's all love and kisses. This bundle of energy loves playing with other dogs and can keep up with the best of them. When he's not running around, he's a total cuddle bug who will gladly curl up next to you once he feels comfortable. A perfect mix of playful and affectionate, he'll win you over with his big personality and loving nature. While he's still learning the ropes on a leash, his enthusiasm and playful spirit make every walk an adventure. With a little patience and training, this pup is sure to be a loyal and fun companion. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
