About Bear

URGENT !!! BEAR IS ABOUT to Lose Everything ! Another black dog goes unnoticed. So sweet and so easy going . Overlooked, passed by, invisible in a sea of wagging tails and hopeful eyes. It's heartbreaking - black dogs are the most euthanized in shelters, not because they're broken or unlovable, but simply because of the color of their fur. Three years ago, Bear was rescued from the chaos and heartbreak of ACCT Philly - a survivor of the overcrowded shelter system and a dig who finally believed he'd found his forever home . But now, his world is crumbling again. His family is moving and cannot take him with them . No bashing , please- this is about Bear, and he needs our help , your help , right now . If we dont step in quickly , Bear will be dropped off right back at the same shelter he once escaped - a shelter where must dogs NEVER make it out. And we know if he goes back , it will break him . Sweet Bear doesn't understand whats happening He is sweet, gentle and loving He's Amazing on a leash He is wonderful with kids , loves to give them kisses He is house broken He is 6 years old He just wants to be somebody's good boy again . Right now we are unsure how he is with other dogs , but we do know is that Bear is trying so hard to be brave . We are desperately looking for a foster or adopter , but in the meantime, we need help raising funds for emergency boarding and food to keep him safe from being returned to death row. Please help the advocates help keep him safe , he only has us the village to determine his faith. He already has been through too much , he doesn't deserve this. Bear is in great danger .
