About Rogue Mustache

I found him in very sad shape and the microchip owners said he wasn't theirs anymore. He needs a loving home with someone who has time and patience, or means to get him into an appropriate trainer. He is sweet and loving, loves to run and fetch. He loves car rides with the windows down. He knows touch, sit, wait (waits for food on command)shake and spin. He's good with kids and wants to play with other dogs. His recall is weak and hes stubborn, but he'll respond with pressure. Now the bad news. He likes to chew and swallow fabric. I and others assume it's because of the state of his neglect. I found him emaciated, with sores on his paws, he smelled like pee and was sticky and gross. We think he might have literally had a security blanket. He plays rough and,though fixed, he mounts blankets and any large fabric beanbags. He's a jumper. He poops in the house, but only without access to outside for more than 6 hours. Hes defensive and barks, chases cars, and is dominant in nature with a high prey drive. He's definitely going to need intense training. I wish I could keep him but hes a full time job and I don't think I can keep him. The price is high because I already have potential owners. They want him to meet their dog. If that doesn't work out, im lowering it to 50, to cover the cost of his harness, leash, brush, clippers, and other items. I bought them in hopes he could stay with me forever but I'm happy to at least rescued him. He will only go to people who are going to get him a trainer/ send him for training/ are trainers themselves. He needs a happy, forever home.
