These fab ears belong to Kacey, a Border Collie mix. Kacey is about 3 years old and weighs just 45 pounds. This girl is as smart as you would expect. In little time, she has learned: Sit, Lay down, Place, Roll over, and Shake. If you ask her about going to the park, she knows what you are saying. Click on the red YouTube button to see her reply to that question. Kacey is also house and crate trained. Kacey is a typical herder: smart, loyal to her people, a bit hesitant with new folks. Due to that, she isn't a fit for a home with small kids or lots of company coming and going. Kacey likes to take a moment to say hi and then is polite. Heck, I am the same way! Kacey is good with other dogs, large and small. She likes to play with other dogs, too. Kacey is great on leash and walks politely past other dogs. She is nice in the car and will be a good travel companion. She is confident enough to go most places, and will definitely appreciate an outdoor lifestyle. She is already fantastic on hikes and at the dog beach. In less populated places, she is good off leash. Kacey loves to fetch! Yes to fetch, says Kacey. Kacey is a special girl who is an amazing companion and the best cuddler. Plus, she may have the best ears ever. She simply wants to leave her busy, crowded apartment complex life for someone active with a quieter condo or house who prefers outdoor activities to hosting lots of guests. She is fine at quiet restaurants where people leave her alone, and will definitely not appreciate going to a fair or waking a busy boardwalk. For an active, outdoors type who likes quieter places, this girl will make her new people/person feel very special. Kacey is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
