CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF%A0 DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Sapphire is a dwarf/lionhead mix with a touch of hotot too! She was doted upon at a foster home for four months. They report that she is sweet and loved snuggling in a hoodie jacket! The foster home had dogs so she is acclimated to being around them. She might like a male bunny companion if you have a neutered male needing a friend. She was rescued on December 28, 2024 from a park in LaHabra. We suspect she was a Christmas dump. She was spayed on May 10, 2025.. Her estimated date of birth is October 2024. She currently weighs a little over two pounds. She is full grown. She will not get any larger Sapphire should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Sapphire can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you have a spayed/neutered single bun searching for a friend, there are plenty of rescue rabbits here available for my signature rapid romance bunny bonding. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
