About Venus (aka Wilma)

Venus (aka Wilma) is a four-month old cattle dog mix puppy. A little dog with two names! Venus is a doll! Smart, spunky! She comes to us from Kings County Animal Services. Venus is underweight, but she's healthy and gaining weight quickly now that she's getting more direct attention. Venus is playful and rambunctious. She's the youngest dog in the rescue right now, but she keeps up with all the older dogs! Venus is sleeping in a crate and does great the entire night. She loves the pack walk with the other dogs, but wasn't too interested in the creek. Venus is spayed, as she had a potential adopter at the shelter who insisted she be spayed at 4 months old. But then the adopter never showed up to get her. Already crate trained, spayed, chipped, current on vaccines... a little skinny, but she's leaps and bounds ahead of that game.
