About Finn

Finn is a 3.5 year old pure bred Stumpy Tail Cattle dog from Australia. He moved over at the age of 5 months with us and absolutely loves the snow! Which we found amusing. Unfortunately we have been placed in a predicament where we need to return to Australia and whilst we had started the process to import Finn home with us, we have run out of time to import him back under Australian animal import laws. Finn has all vaccinations up to date as well as his rabies vaccine. Finns pro's: - Finn is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside - Loves the outdoors and is content outside all day and night when weather permits - Will follow his leader everywhere - Is a very quiet dog, likes to talk to you once in a while, does not bark, only if unsure of something or threat - rare - Travels well, he has been all over North America to date, in the truck in winter and in the tub in summer- loves this means of transport - Loyal and somewhat affectionate, loves to play with herding ball, sticks and balls as well as exploring - Easy to train and learns very quickly, these dogs are very intelligent - Loves to run and exercise, good for outdoor types Cons: - Does not play ball with other dogs, is possessive of his ball, stick or otherwise. Does get along with other dogs though, just not in these situations - Will test hierarchy of individuals to see if can get away with undisciplined behaviours initially but gains quick understanding - Needs a good run everyday, this is not a bad thing as he currently gets plenty of this but just want to highlight. Can sit around inside during a snowstorm if required though ��%BD��%BD��%BD%81 This is a very hard thing to carry out as Finn is a wonderful dog with an awesome temperament and good basic obedience skills that will progress with more time and training to suit. As such, he will only go to a genuine caring home, preferably with some space for him to enjoy his ongoing development with his new family
