About Draco

Dachshund mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Introducing Draco! Draco loves people and dogs. He will trap you in a hug with his paws to give unlimited kisses. He is currently living with 2 male dogs who are 6 months old and 7 years old. He loves to play with both and loves to run. He is a high energy dog who needs plenty of running and play time. He is a Zoomie professional. Draco is looking for a home with at least one other doggie to play with. Draco is housebroken, but doesn't like being in a crate beyond meal time. After a lot of running and playing he then finds a good napping spot. He likes to burrow under covers and several times a day will take himself up to bed. Look for the lump! He is a fast eater so I feed him in a kennel so that he will not approach the other dogs when he is done. He quickly adjusted to this and by the third day now runs into the kennel ahead of me for his food. I also put his wet food on a textured doggie mat so that licking that makes his meal take longer. Physically Draco kind of looks like a black lap puppy, except this is him full size. One of his striking features is his very dark eyes. He is 3-4 years old and a solid 24# of muscle. His speed suggests part Jack Russell terrier? In the past two weeks he has started this very cute thing kind of like talking. Hard to explain. He's either telling us about world angst or that we should only pet him and not his brothers.
