Her name is ' PIPER'. Background: CSP has had Piper since weaned from a breeder. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. REACTIVE with dogs. REACTIVE with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained, DO NOT CRATE. Has severe Panic Attacks when put inside a crate or kennel. She is trained to Free Roam the home and has good behavior when left out and alone. Please respect her Anxieties and do NOT crate her Anxiety and on Prozac daily and occasionally Transactions + has a bad knee. Currently on Purina Pro food. Weighs 80 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: balls - stress balls - eggs - cheese - going on walks - chilling on the couch - playing fetch - being near her person- laying on a soft comfy bed. REACTIVE when meeting new people and will bark. Has never attacked or bitten a human. ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!!! She takes a while to warm up but will be okay if given time. Piper needs a great loving home immediately. She is Reactive to strangers, dogs and cats. She has never attacked or bit a human but has attacked the other family dog. She is very possessive of her Current Shepherd Parent and gets triggered when the other large breed dog comes close to her and has attacked. The attacks do not happen often, but they have happened. Because of this, the Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Piper. Piper is intelligent and knows Basic Commands. She has okay Recall and good on a leash. She is an eager and fast learner. She is a very good watch dog. Sweet to her people and very loyal. As stated above, she is Reactive so Proper Introduction must always be used and allow her plenty of time to calm down and warm up. She is, on average, okay with the other family dogs, but does get triggered to attack on rare occasions. She does like playing with other dogs once her Reactiveness has faded away. It sounds like Piper may need a Breed Experienced person to help her work through these issues if you have other animals in the home. Otherwise, Piper will thrive best in a NO other pet home with NO kids. Piper needs someone that will respect her Anxieties and NOT crate her. Someone who is home a lot with plenty of time to work with Piper and hopefully help ease her anxieties and hopefully get her off of this medication.
