About TESS

Bakersfield Strays was notified about an abandoned dog wandering in a foxtail-infested field near the Breckenridge area of Bakersfield, CA. The rescue proved challenging; initially, the dog was hidden from view, and when we finally spotted her, she was darting through the street in fear, nearly colliding with passing vehicles. After exercising patience, we managed to catch her, only to be devastated by her condition as she was severely emaciated and infested with ticks. Tess is an affectionate young pup who adores both people and other dogs. She delights in playing in the yard and loves nothing more than a good belly rub. Currently on the lookout for her forever home, Tess promises to be a devoted and loving companion to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.
