About Tarzan

Luca (shelter name Tarzan) is a 1-year-old Catahoula mix, possibly with German Shepherd. He has puppy energy but is incredibly smart and very trainable. He is potty-trained, crate-trained, has made significant progress walking well on leash. He would do well with a backyard or farm to be able to expend energy but has done well in a condo building with several walks per day. He recently had FHO surgery on his back left leg due to a broken femur and displaced hip prior to being picked up by the shelter. He is recovering well and will be able to run, jump, and play without issue. He is also cuddly and loves to be around his humans. His temperment around children is unknown. Overall, he's an awesome dog who will make a great adventure and outdoor buddy.
