About Beast

We got Beast from a Pyrenees rescue site a few years ago when we lived in town after someone tried to break into our home. He was an amazing security dog! He made my wife feel so safe when I worked nights. He was not the last. We moved recently to a more remote location and has proved not to be great with foul livestock(ours and our neighbors). He is very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. He trains well with positive reinforcement as he is extremely intelligent. He has a great respect for fences, although he will bolt through an open gate. He is around 200 lbs and will over eat if you don't regulate his food. We had an older dog that couldn't do much, but he made all the difference for her by ministering to her needs as only a canine could, and she told him when to stop eating. She has passed now, and my wife and I cannot currently afford his grooming and veterinary needs, nor are we home enough to spend as much time with him as we should. He is a wonderful animal, and he deserves far more than I can give him right now. The right owner could have a loyal companion and friend in this monster teddy bear!
