About Carter

Due to upcoming long-term international travel, my family and I are heartbroken to share that we need to rehome our beloved dog. We're seeking the most loving and peaceful home possible for his golden years. He's a 14-year-old purebred Havanese in excellent health, requires no medications, and still enjoys his daily walks. He's equally content to just hang out and relax at home, making him a perfect companion for someone who works during the day but wants a little buddy to come home to. He has hair, not fur, which means he doesn't shed and is considered hypoallergenic - a wonderful bonus for anyone with allergies or who simply prefers a low-shedding dog. He gets along well with adults and other dogs, though he can be a bit nervous around wild or very energetic young children. He's been a deeply cherished member of our family, and this decision has not been made lightly - which is why finding the right home matters so much to us.
