About Birdie

This cutie is only 35 pounds and a perfect size. She is an absolute sweetheart with a tragic history. She is now known as Birdie. She and two littermates were known to be running loose, scavenging and fending for themselves for almost A YEAR! Just imagine that for a minute. Birdie is about 1.5 years old. She came into the shelter extremely hungry. She loves all people and other dogs. She is a social butterfly. Birdie is learning what a leash is all about right now. We are confident that she will become a very grateful and loyal companion. This girl deserves a lot of TLC and to experience the good things in a cherished doggy's life!
