About Mickey

Hi, I'm Mickey! I'm a 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a smaller frame but a whole lot of energy and love to give! I may be a little high-energy at times, but once I get a good walk or run in, I settle down beautifully and become the best indoor buddy you could ask for. I'm currently living with a fun foster sister (she's a high-energy, semi-submissive gal), and we get along great-playing together outside really helps me burn off my zoomies! I'd do best in a home with at least one furry sibling to keep me company. I also enjoy the company of human kids, I live with two (ages 10 and 12), and I think they're pretty awesome. I'm still learning a few manners. When I get excited, I might jump or hop on the furniture, but I'm working on 'off' and getting better every day. I love walks and runs, and while I can pull a little on the leash at first, I settle into a rhythm quickly. After being inside, I tend to gulp down my water like it's going out of style, so I usually need to go out right after to avoid accidents. Potty training is still in progress, but I'm trying! The kennel and I are on okay terms now, I'm getting used to it. And even though I'm full of energy, I'm also a sweetie who loves laying next to my people while they work or relax. I'm pretty calm most of the time unless my foster sisters get me riled up-then it's party time again! I'm not a big talker, I haven't tried counter surfing (yet!), and I've shown no food or toy aggression at all. I'm just a happy, playful guy looking for a home with a fenced yard, a little patience, and a whole lot of love. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick for runs, walks, and cuddle time, I might be your guy!
