About Mia

8-month-old mixed breed (likely Labrador mix) Currently in foster care - not at the shelter Mia is a bouncy, affectionate puppy on the hunt for the best humans under the sun! She's full of energy, playfulness, and love. As a young Labrador mix, she's quite strong and spirited. She gets along well with other dogs but may overwhelm more sensitive ones with her enthusiasm. She absolutely adores people, though she doesn't quite realize how big and powerful she is - she could easily knock over a small child during play. In her foster home, Mia lives with a large female dog and a neutered male. They play a lot, and she would really benefit from having a doggy friend in her new home too. She's best suited for a house with a large, secure garden, and ideally for a family with older children. She cannot live with small animals, as she has a strong prey drive. Mia is still a typical mischievous pup - she might chew things, dig up your flower beds, or shred a slipper or two. But she'll repay you with endless love, joy, and tail wags. She came to us after her previous owners - an elderly couple - realized they couldn't keep up with the demands of raising a large, active puppy. Mia is not located at the shelter, but in foster care. She will go to her new home vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites. Spaying after her first heat (at our partner clinic in Jino��%BD%8Dany) is mandatory and paid for by us.
