About Shanty

Shanty Northern Princess (Husky x Malamute), 6 years old Beautiful Shanty is unmistakably a mix of northern breeds and is best suited for someone familiar with them-or willing to learn and adapt their lifestyle to her needs. Shanty is completely friendly with people and is used to children. She lived in a household with a cat (though she knew the cat since she was a puppy). Outdoor animals, however, catch her interest-she'd love to chase them. She adores long hikes in nature, in any weather. If she doesn't get enough exercise, she may try to go on adventures by herself. She's perfect for someone who enjoys long treks, dog trekking, or canicross. When she's had enough physical activity, she's calm at home and can relax peacefully. She usually gets along with other dogs, but won't tolerate bad behavior-she will stand up for herself and let others know when they're being annoying. Shanty will be adopted vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and treated for parasites.
