About Gus (Angus Rufus)

Hi, my name is Angus Rufus or my mom used to call me just 'Gus'. My mom developed something called Alzheimer's and recently had to leave me and my sister to go into a facility. And that's how I ended up needing to find a new home. About Me: I'm a purebred American Bobtail cat. I'm part of a bonded pair with my sister. I'm a Seal Lynx point American bobtail. My sister is a Mink spotted tabby American Bobtail that has lots of extra toes. I am starting a new diet with the hope to slowly shed some extra pounds of weight. I'm close to 30 pounds. Our mom used to think that whenever I meowed, it meant that she forgot to feed us. And I would take full advantage of all the extra dry kibble. We just turned 7 years old which is barely mid-age for bobtails (which usually live to 15-20 years). We are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and declawed on their front feet. Our mom left us with a family member that's trying to help us find a new home. Unfortunately the family member is allergic to us so she can't keep us permanently.
