Sammy is a friendly, people-loving, lionhead-mix bunny who was living outdoors on his own until a Good Samaritan rescued him and introduced him to me. Sammy is beautiful, healthy (per his 4/28/25 vet visit), and very sweet. He loves to be petted and have his ears scratched. He expresses his zest for life by jumping in the air, twirling around, and doing zoomies. Periscoping and running through his candy cane tunnel are favorite pastimes. This entertaining little guy needs to live indoors and would do best in a home where he can free roam among his people most of the time. He is great at using his litter pan and is an expert self-groomer. He talks/snorts now and then, runs toward me when he sees me, and is fine being picked up. He enjoys licking me, climbing on me, and having his eyes rubbed lightly. Sammy is a delight to be around. I don't know how Sammy would get along with other rabbits, dogs, cats, or small children. At 3.2 lbs, he is quite fragile and probably should not be in a home with small children unless very closely supervised. Sammy is potential prey for all other animals and probably should not be left alone with dogs or cats. Sammy eats Oxbow Essential Adult pellets, Science Selective House Rabbit pellets, romaine lettuce, cilantro, green and red leaf lettuce, and plenty of timothy hay. He likes Oxbow Baked Apple & Banana treats and chew toys. He drinks water from a bowl. Sammy is still a baby at 7 months old. Sammy has an appointment to be neutered on 5/13/25, so he will be ready for his new home by 5/20/25. Please contact me if you are interested in adopting Sammy into your family, even on a trial basis. Sammy would enjoy being someone's companion. Sammy's adoption fee is $100 to help cover his neuter procedure and annual exam.
