About River

Meet River! He is a goofy and loyal puppy who loves people! His favorite activities include fetch, tug of war, and cuddling in your lap while he chews on a bone. River is 4.5 months old (date of birth: 12/24/2023) and is de-wormed and up to date on his vaccinations & flea and heartworm schedules. While fostering River we've been diligently working to train him to be the best companion and family dog. So far his accomplishments include: - Crate trained & sleeping through the night (9pm - 7am) - Potty trained when in a confined indoor space - Leash trained with good manners in progress! - Not chasing the cat - His commands include: 'River, Come!', Sit, Stay, Down, Go get it & bring it back (fetch), Leave it, Off, and Go Potty. - We're currently working on Rollover! River learns very quickly! He would thrive as a working companion on a farm or in a large yard. He would do best in a home with one or more dogs and/or children to spend his days with!
