About Penelope

This sweetheart is PENELOPE and as you'll see in her photos, she's a love bug! She's a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd mix who is fully grown at 53 pounds.. She has the sweetest personality and is living with a wonderful foster family who have 3 children (16, 13 and 11) and she also spends lots of time with a 7 year old who visits all the time. Her Foster Mom shares 'Penelope is the biggest love bug! The things she adores most are food, people and frozen peanut butter Kongs :) She's housebroken and crate trained but prefers to spend her time on laps soaking in all the attention she can get. Penny is super smart and very trainable because she's food motivated. She's a social butterfly who is both dog-friendly and kid-friendly. She has experience with cats and does well, but will chase them if they run so she needs slow intros to them. She has a playful and fun energy level and will do best with an adopter who has a fenced in yard and time to spend with her highly affectionate personality.
