Meet Adler! My name is Adler, and I was born on 10/20/2024 in Texas with my eight siblings. I am one of the 6 girls from the litter. I am up to date on all my shots and recently have been spayed. I'm a Mini Aussie/bully mix, so I am super smart and learn very quickly! I'm only 30lbs still and am expected to stay on the smaller/medium size. I'm a pup that's up for anything and everything! I can have a lot of energy, and I love to run around. I have a ton of fun playing outside and love being chased and chasing my foster siblings. I love to go after toys and fetch; I even know the 'drop it' command! Eventually, I do get tired out and love to be snuggled and pet by my foster humans. I follow them whenever and wherever I'm allowed to. When we're at home, I love to just chill and chew on my toys. I'm the perfect mix of active and relaxed! I am 100% kennel trained and know 'night-night' means its bedtime, but I also do great sleeping all night in a human bed too! I do great with the large, adult dogs that live here and know when it's time to play or leave them alone. I do get a little nervous about meeting new pups sometimes, but I warm up very fast when I know they're ok. I haven't met any cats yet, but I think I would like them too, even if they don't appreciate my puppy curiosity. There is a 12-year-old boy that lives here; I get so excited to play with him and love every kid I have met so far! We even play hide and seek, though, it's super easy for me to find him. I haven't spent much time with any really young children yet, but I'm getting very good at not jumping up, except to sneak an occasional kiss. I walk pretty good on a leash and will go with you anywhere. I love going on outdoor adventures and would love an owner to hike with. I do great going to soccer games, outdoor restaurants and everywhere else I've been taken. I just lay on my mat and chew my bone until, inevitably, someone wants to give me pets. I know how to do all kinds of things, like lay, sit and shake. I am very good at 'stay' and even know to sit and wait for my meals until I'm told it's ok. I am potty trained but do have an occasional accident when my foster mom doesn't listen to my cues fast enough. I have been working with bells to let her know when it's time to go out, and that really helps since I'm not a very vocal pup yet. I am such an eager learner; it takes no time at all to teach me new things. I'm having so much fun and learning so much every day, but I can't wait to meet my new family!
