About

Adoption Fee: $25
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

I rescued this female tortie May 1, 2025. She was skinny and had gunk in her eyes, and I didn't see mom or siblings close by, so I assumed she was an abandoned stray. I took her to the vet an hour after getting her, and she tested positive for FIV and got a Convenia shot - she's sneezing a lot right now and is snotty! The vet determined her to be 6 weeks old when I brought her in on May 1. She weighed 1.31 lbs. It's not feasible for me to keep her, so I am looking to rehome her. Since she is FIV+, I have her in her own room separated from the other 3 cats in my house. I hate to keep her alone, especially at her age when she should be socializing with other kitties and exploring! I'd love to for her to be adopted or put in another foster home where she can roam a little more freely. She is moving, climbing around, and eating like a normal kitten now! They did not do a bloodwork since she was so weak. Below is the medical care she received on May 1: - Deworming (vet said she didn't have worms, but they did it as a precaution anyway) - Felv/Ftlv test - Convenia injection (antibiotic lasts 2 weeks; supposted to help with her respiratory issues; I will take her to the vet again on May 14 (if not in a new home yet) to see if she needs another shot/if she can get bloodwork done). - Revolution single dose (she had fleas; I do not see any now) - Terramycin adminstered to her eyes 3x daily (she won't need this long term; will probably be done with it May 14)
