Hello, I'm reaching out to you about Billie, a one-and-a-half-year-old Bull Terrier. Billie arrived at a city shelter with a severe open wound on her neck. Although the injury was properly treated and healed, she was immediately placed on the euthanasia list. Heartbroken by her situation, my wife and I chose the only option available from the shelter: we adopted Billie to save her life. We've done our best to care for Billie by providing love, training, playtime, and healthcare. However, due to our current professional and financial situation, we are unable to fully meet all her needs. Billie is incredibly sweet, smart, and great with people, but she does have some behavioral challenges outside the home that require dedicated training and attention. We consider ourselves as Billie's foster family, helping her transition until we can find her a loving, suitable, and permanent home. Initially, our priority was saving her life; now our goal is to ensure she finds the amazing family she truly deserves. Ideally, we would love to keep her, but we must find Billie a new family by mid-June, or she will have to return to a shelter, where she will again face euthanasia. Billie is healthy, chipped, spayed, and vaccinated. We have all her medical records and legal documents. We would be happy to speak with you further to find the best possible home for Billie so she can finally have the life she deserves. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
