About Jager

Jager was found by his breeder in a shelter and we agreed to foster him as we already had his littermate Chloe. It took them about 24 hours to get used to each other and then they were best of friends. We are looking for him to find a permanent home preferably one where he can come and go outdoors as he pleases as he gets anxious and pacey indoors. He is not great with other dogs immediately so may need to be indroduced slowly. I believe he has trauma from previous owner so some things can set him off to barking. He does not like clicking sound of gas stove or when you kill flies. He is over protective of children to the point he is concerned when a child does something he sees as dangerous. There is a fixed date we have chosen (05/30/2025) to surrender him to the Humane Society, so please reach out soon if you believe he will be a good fit to your home!
