About Lucy

Lucy is a 2-year-old female spayed Cattle dog mix that has been a part of the Joliet Junior College Vet Tech Program. Lucy is one of the only dogs we have left. Lucy is scheduled to go back to the shelter today and the shelter is full... We are worried that she will be euthanized. We are working on keeping her here for a few more days to reach out to more people! She is an incredible dog that loves people. Very excited with other dogs but calms down quickly. She would do well with older kids because she likes her personal space and doesn't enjoy being hugged or be in her space too long which some young children to not understand. She loves to run and play ball. She would love have a yard to run around in. She needs a foster or an adopter ASAP.
