Gwen is a stunning beauty who found herself in a shelter after her family could no longer care for her following the arrival of a new baby. At first, she was understandably confused and stressed, but with time, love, and patience, Gwen's true, wonderful personality has blossomed. She's a laid-back, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than curling up in a cozy lap and being pampered. Gwen's luxurious, soft, long fur will need regular grooming - something she enjoys when it means extra attention! She's even discovered the joy of playing with wand toys. Gwen is easy to handle and thrives on being spoiled. She came to us extremely constipated which contributed to her not using the litter box. She's currently on a daily dose of over-the-counter Miralax and a small amount of prescription Prozac which has helped her stay comfortable and happy - both are inexpensive and she likely will not need the Prozac long-term once she's fully settled into a loving home. While her litter box habits have improved a lot, she sometimes will still poop outside the box. This special girl is looking for a calm, quiet home, with an experienced cat person, where she can reign as the cherished Princess she truly is.
