About Whiskey

Whiskey was rescued from an abusive home and was supposed to go to a good home after being house trained. However, he got bigger than expected (70lbs). He also has some quirks like leash reactivity (which has come down with some training from a 10 to about a 4) and he can be a nervous piddler when he thinks he is in trouble and when he gets his harness put on for a walk. These traits have made it more difficult to find him a forever home. * 2.5 YEAR OLD MALE GOLDEN DOODLE/MUTT MIX * NEUTERED, UTD ON SHOTS, & HOUSE TRAINED * NEEDS EXPERIENCED HANDLER OR A HANDLER WHO IS PATIENT AND WILLING TO TAKE HIM TO TRAINING FOR HIS INSANE PREY DRIVE * NO CHILDREN OR SMALL ANIMALS - THIS DOG HAS A HIGH PREY DRIVE!!! * NEEDS AN ACTIVE HOME - DAILY WALKS/FETCH ETC. * HE GETS ALONG WITH OUR OTHER DOG, BUT UNSURE IF HE WILL GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS, AS HE CAN BE REACTIVE ON LEASH TOWARDS OTHER DOGS * LOVES TO CUDDLE, DOES NOT TEAR UP THE HOUSE, LOVES FETCH, KNOWS BASIC COMMANDS 'SIT', 'COME', NO, 'LEFT', 'RIGHT', IS OK WITH 'LEAVE IT', 'DROP IT', AND 'STAY' Willing to drive to meet the perfect match.
