About Chance

Hi my name is Chance I'm a rescued dog, from an Arkansas puppy mill my first 7 years of life I Spent most my time in a small cage stacked on top of other caged dogs in a barn type building, I was livestock nothing more or less. I received no love, was hosed down with my cage. My life was to breed with other females Pomeranians to make beautiful puppies like myself for sale. Once the number of pups you sires drops they pass us on to a rescue or just put us down. I was lucky. I was rescued they vetted me pulled all my bad teeth cut my matted hair and sent me north to Connecticut to started my forever home journey. My new owner had lost her Pom to old age and was very very lost without him. She and her friend found me. I wasn't much to look at and I didn't know how to walk or run or go up and down a flight of stairs. Wasn't house broke I'm so much better with that but I still mark my territory every once in a while. My new mom discovered that I have a chicken allergy that has taken its toll on me. So no chicken for me. She also gives me an epsom salt / baking soda bath once a month or when needed I love my baths. She brushes me daily and keeps me clean and trimmed. I love other little dogs but not bigger dogs. I don't have very good balance for some reason so puppies can be to much for me. I get exhausted easily. I'm high maintenance low energy. My Mom has Brain Cancer and is not going to survive maybe 6-12 months . She want me to go live with someone that knows Poms and loves & cares for them like her. I want to stay near her as long as I can so I'm not instantly yours, She would like to meet you and possibly my new little dog friend. I'm good with cat too. She's so worried about me and I'm worried about her too. Please help us both.
