About Athena (BONDED PAIR)

Athena is a very sweet and lovey cat I've had her and her sister for over 5 years. They have only ever had 1 encounter with another cat and it was a foster there was not to many issues after the first couple days but they preferred to stay in there own areas and the other cat preferred to be hidden around the house. As for dogs they have essentially grown up around dogs but dont like them getting in there space and will give them the what for if they get to close.Athena doesnt have any issues with kids she loves anyone who can give her attention. She lets our kid do whatever to her and she just sits there and purrs (of course nothing mean we teach our kids from the beginningkindness and gentle hands). There have been times where they have gotten a little rough trying to lay on her or hug her to cuddle and she just purred until I got them and showed them how to gently cuddle. When our child was young they would grab her tail and ears to 'pet' and she just sat there (they were show how to properly pet the cats) she is so patientand sweet. She loves attention and pets and cuddles she will sit in your lap all day if you let her. She is not aggressive at all she will just whine if she doesn't like what your doing or if a kid/person hurts her by accident. Both girls where over weight when we took them to the vet a couple months ago so they cannot graze feed they are on a day and night feeding schedule with a amount regimen they can get. Athena has an allergy to fleas so if she gets them and they arnt taken care of right away she will lose her hair she will also scratch bite and lick herself raw. But other then that they are healthy. They are a Bonded Pair they go together no exceptions. I love these two girls deeply and despite how hard it is to rehome them I know I am doing the right thing one of the members in the home is allergic and as it didn't cause issues before its starting to get worse and they can no longer be out of there room at this time.These girls deserve a wonderful home where they can be free and loved on at all times and sadly we can no longer give them that. I am asking a $50 rehoming fee per girl to make sure they go to a good home. This fee could be adjusted if the right home and family is found. They are microchipped the contact information will need to be transferred to the new owner(s).
