About Bella

Bella is a 3-year-old female with an adorable underbite. Her nickname is 'Teefers.' We adopted Bella from the shelter 2 years ago and are unsure of her lineage. Her current vaccines were given April 15, 2015. She completed 2 weeks of obedience training at Double H Canine Training Academy in Louisville, KY in January 2025. Bella is great with dogs, cats and kids. Bella is a born protector. She spends her days watching and alerting to potential threats (cars, squirrels, etc). Bella has missed her calling by living in the city. She would thrive as a livestock dog where she could guard and protect her herd. We are re-homing Bella due to no fault of her own. Our special needs daughter is getting a service dog. We are concerned Bella's pent-up energy will distract the service dog from performing his duties. We require a comprehensive interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will travel to transport Bella to a quality home.
