Meet SPIKE - Your New Best Friend! SPIKE is a 5-month-old, 9-pound Chihuahua puppy bursting with love, energy, and personality! Recently surrendered to us, this little guy is ready to find a forever home filled with affection, fun, and adventure. SPIKE is a total people-pup who adores attention, cuddles, and being as close to you as possible-even if that means trying to hop in the shower! He loves his toys, enjoys playtime, and is happiest when he's snuggled up with his humans. This social butterfly gets along well with both dogs and cats. While he's shown a bit of resource guarding around food and affection, he's responded well to reassurance and consistent boundaries. Like most puppies, SPIKE plays with lots of enthusiasm and would thrive with another young, energetic dog to match his playful spirit. He's already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained-plus, he sleeps soundly in the big bed with his foster parents each night. SPIKE would love a home with a secure yard where he can run, explore, and burn off that puppy energy. He's the perfect companion for someone looking for a lively, loving pup who'll be your shadow and snuggle buddy. SPIKE has been to the vet for a wellness check, has had all of his puppy shots, is neutered, has been started on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. We do not have a physical facility for visits. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs have been to the vet for a wellness check, are up to date on shots, are spayed/neutered, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Dogs 1 year old and over are heartworm tested and received a year of heartworm prevention with a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
