Meet COLT - Your Future Snuggle Buddy! COLT is a 6-month-old, 26-pound Beagle with a heart full of love and cuddles to give. Surrendered to us with his littermates, all of his brothers and sisters have already found their forever homes-now it's COLT's turn to shine! This sweet boy has grown into a lovable companion who thrives on affection and attention. He adores snuggling on the couch and showering his person with kisses. His foster mom says he's incredibly eager to please, sometimes even a little sensitive when told 'no,' because he just wants to make his person happy. COLT is great with other dogs and especially enjoys playing chase with dogs his size. He'd love a home with a friendly, playful pup-but would prefer a companion who's respectful of his space. We haven't tested him with cats, but he's likely to do well with kids who want to play and snuggle! Potty training is going well-he's close to being fully trained and is expected to improve quickly in a stable home with a consistent routine. He's currently living with several other dogs, some of whom aren't potty trained, so he's doing great given the circumstances. We recommend PetSmart's puppy training classes to set him up for success! COLT is an explorer at heart. He loves being outside, going for car rides, and squeaky toys are his absolute favorite! At night, he happily curls up in bed with his foster mom and foster siblings. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate best friend, COLT is your guy. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs have been to the vet for a wellness check, are up to date on shots, are spayed/neutered, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Dogs 1 year old and over are heartworm tested and received a year of heartworm prevention with a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
