About Peaches

Welcome Peaches to CCPAL foster program. Peaches is an 8.5-week-old puppy. She weighs about 10 pounds. She should be 30 pounds or less full grown. She will be medium sized. She is a Border Collie/Lab is our best guess. She was found as a stray on a busy street and people were honking. A good Samaritan picked her up and did some initial vetting and then was referred to CCPAL Rescue to find her new home. She is very very sweet and gentle. She would be fine with other dogs, all people and children. We like children to be 8 or older to best understand how to handle a puppy. She is very trusting and has the softest hair. Her coat almost feels like the soft fluffy underlayer of feathers found on birds. She has webbed feet so she should be a good swimmer. She is good in a crate, good in a car and a lap pup. She is playful but moderate in the activity range. She is soft when you pick her up and contented on your lap. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200.
