About McGuinty

McGuinty came to us from Yuma as an owner surrender. He is very much a ladies man so would definitely do best in a female only home or with an extremely patient man with no expectations. His foster dad is a gentle guy who usually wins the pups over but his best efforts have not yet been successful with this boy! On the other hand he LOVES his mama and most women he has met. McGuinty walks pretty well on a leash, does well in a crate, and uses the dog door at his foster home but of course would need time/patience adjusting to a new routine. He is active and playful and behaves like a much younger dog. Mc Guinty is around 9 years old and is current on vaccines, neutered and seems healthy. He is friendly with other dogs especially those smaller (no info on cats). He would likely be best with older kids or no kids due to his anxious/fearful temperament. McGuinty is a quiet guy so might be ok in an apartment or condo type setting. He does prefer sleeping in bed with his human.
