We adopted Luna from the humane society in October 2024 when she was 7 months old. She was very shy and nervous. She was born March 2024. Currently she is about 60lbs. She is now house trained, great with kids and other dogs, loves to play fetch, and loves to run the backyard. She loves to chew benebones and her chewy toy ball. Treats get her very excited! Luna will show you her sit, shake, and lay skills for a treat. She knows to ring the bell on the back door when she needs to go outside. She will go into her caged area when you tell her cage. When she is craving attention, she will put her ball by you to play fetch or she will put her ball under the dresser and stare at it for you to get it for her. She needs someone who can give her more love and attention than we can give her with our busy schedules. We contacted the humane society but they have over 500 dogs on a waitlist before she will be able to be returned there. Luna needs a home where someone doesn't work 13hours a day. If she is home, she needs another dog to keep her entertained. She is a very social girl and wants to be around her humans or other people. She is on Simparica for flea and worm prevention and you will receive her May and June doses. She also has an elevated feeder and nice dog bed she loves and providers her comfort. She is 36% golden retriever, 30% Great Dane, 30% pit terrier mix, 4% Lab. She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines including Leptospirosis. If you know of anyone, please let me know.
