About Drifter

Drifter is a domesticated dog that someone dumped on my street. This dog definitely was an in side dog all its life. He was dumped at about 9 month old. He is high maintenance, loves to be bathed and is on a schedule with walks and play time and feeding. He gets along with other dogs well however is a loner and loves to play eat and sleep. He is very territorial with toys and food. Possession issues are an issue with him. He loves a dog house, dog bed and his toys. Loves cuddles, and loves to play tug o war with his toys. And is awesome at kick ball. However is gets highly reactive around small kids and woman . He needs to be neutered asap. He sits, and lays on command. And is trainable to the right owner. He needs lots of attention and food. He needs a strong owner because he is massive and strong. Not much of a guard dog he is super friendly and wants to jump on every one of. He just looks intimidating and has a death stare that definitely doesn't look inviting. However this dog is a big puppy and loves to cuddle and snuggle. I can't keep him he is too much dog for me. And He is reactive with small children, and I have small children . I'm sure it's something that can be trained however he is a big eater and it's just to much for me . He was dumped and made my yard his home and I would love to find him a forever home because he is a big sweetheart. And would make a good fit with someone with more time and energy.
