Bruno is a lovely dog who was surrendered when the owner couldn't care for him any longer. He is people and dog friendly, three and a half years old, and a nice medium size, maybe 50-55 lbs. His coat is a deep, rich chocolate brown and white, and is smooth as velvet. He likes treats and affection, and he loves to run, as you would imagine. Bruno was a little shy when he first came in; however, that's not unusual for a dog who just lost his home and doesn't know why he is at the shelter. He is now comfortable with the volunteers; however, when he comes outside, he's so excited to sniff the grass that he sometimes doesn't make enough eye contact with the prospective adopter, and people don't realize that this is normal when a dog spends most of his day inside a kennel. He is enjoying all the scents that are only available outdoors; it doesn't mean he won't be affectionate in the home. He just needs time to smell the roses, as they would say, and once he's through, he will come and meet his visitors very politely. Please consider him if you are seeking a sweet young man who could also live with another dog. Bruno is neutered and ready to go.
