About Gunner

Woof! I'm Gunner, an 8-year old male Yellow Labrador Retriever. I lived most of my life in a dirt dog run but have now adjusted very well to living in a home. Besides eating, some of my favorite activities are playing fetch and getting belly rubs. Humans have described me as a sweetheart, a love, very happy, and wiggles (because of how my whole body wiggles when I'm really happy and wag my tail quickly), calm but playful too. My foster parents are working with me on leash walking and leash reactivity, specifically towards other dogs; I will need a family committed to continuing this work. Off leash, I have been friendly with the dogs that I have met. I am good with cats too! I get along well with people, including kids. I ride well in the car, mostly lying down, and know basic commands, although STAY needs work on duration and distance. I weigh a perfect 65 pounds. I'm looking forward to finding a loving, forever home. ***** Adoption fee: $300 plus $35 microchip fee ***** Gunner is being fostered in the Eugene area.
