About Rigby

Rigby is the sweetest beagle-lab (we think) mix who has been part of our family since he was a puppy, adopted in 2019. He demands lots of attention and snuggles and is very social and fun. We have an older dog and used to have a cat, he has always been fine with both but barks at other cats. He has been through a training program and also attended dog day care and all went well. Unfortunately, we've realized that he needs to be an only dog. Very specifically, when a dog walks by the house and Rigby sees the dog, he will bark and run at the fence or window (resource guarding), and if our other dog is too close, he will turn and snap at him, and has bit him a few times. He doesn't seem to notice that he has done it, he does not continue to bite or attack, but does keep barking at the dog who is walking by outside. We hope to find him a loving family who can dote on him as the only dog in the house.
