About Marshmellow (Marshee)

Hi my name is Marshee. I'm 85% Pyrenees, 5% Akbash, 9% mastiff mixes and 100% lover. I was rescued from a home who could not take care of my allergies. I was missing hair around my eyes and muzzle, toes and stomach and didn't have any whiskers left from the constant need to scratch and was just miserable. As a result, I have what you humans call a 'whale' eye that seems to make ppl nervous of me but I promise I'm super super nice and it's only how the tissue scarred around that eye from all the inflammation and histamine. I've been on a steady regimen of apoquil for several years now and have regrown all of my hair back and then some and am in much better health. Despite the misery I have always had a loving, playful (and stubborn) temperament. I love kids and adults but I do not like other dogs or cats, I'm very territorial and like my people all to myself. While I haven't been officially diagnosed with it I may have some hip displaysia. I don't experience any pain from it right now but but my gate is very very narrow so we kind of figured I have it. My owner has to take care of 4 house holds including her daughter and her mother who has alzheimers. Im not sure why but I really don't like her mom and I've made it very much known. She insists she has to keep her mom though so we are looking for a furever home who has experience with dogs like me and who can give me the the specific attention that I need.
