About Molly

Molly is four years old, weighs about 60 lbs and is fully vetted. She is very friendly, affectionate and smart! Molly is great with other dogs and children. No cats or small animals as she has a prey drive as most hounds do. Molly is house trained, doesn't like her crate and prefers to be with another dog when left alone. She would do great with a fenced yard - as she has playful energy. She is quirky and funny - and she can jump especially when its food related. She is very food motivated which makes training her easy. She has NO aggression but will bark at squirrels while out for a walk! Molly was one of 53 hounds that were taken away from their owner due to him being too old to care for them. We were able to save all but one of the dogs due to a severe medical case. All the hounds were adopted except for Molly and Yoda. They are both excellent dogs but they were put in the back of the shelter with no exposure or advertisement. Since finding out we are posting publicly for immediate help. Molly is good in a car, she will pull a leash out of excitement, so we recommend a harness for more control. She loves to cuddle and sleep next to her person - or her dog sibling(s). Please help us save her. The shelter is a kill facility - for severe medical cases, aggression and unfortunately SPACE.
