About Fiona

Fiona is an adorable and super tiny 10 pound girl who is around 2-3 years old and recently came to us from the State of Texas and is pretty darn happy to be here now. She was pulled from a municipal shelter and she had little hope there. We believe she is chihuahua and and maybe part dachshund, and she is a pretty black and gold color. She looks like a miniature dachshund mixed with chihuahua to us! She came in with her mother, we think, who is a bit smaller and about 7 years old. Now that they have been with us for a couple weeks, they have come out of their shell some but still shy around strangers. They have both led tough lives, and they have ears that have been torn up and they are pretty thin. Both girls are being evaluated as to how bonded they are and if they can be separated. She is dog friendly and lives with her mother dog here and goes out into the play yard with a number of other dogs in her building. She enjoys the yard and does her business there and then enjoys playtime. She is spayed and fully vaccinated and will come with a microchip too. Her adoption fee is $300.
