We rescued from traffic, while they were on a walk by the river a 6 month old Australian Shepherd. I posted that found and the owners responded that they couldn't keep in apartment and he was given to a gentleman in Tulsa who ended up just letting him go outside whenever but never bothered chasing him down. (That's when we were told he was 6 month old Shepherd.) Owners don't want back, neither does the guy, and we can't keep. Shelter not an option as Oklahoma is big on killing as no room. Since we work, we are working on kennel training. He whines a little at first but then settles. Is doing well with potty training. Was using pad at night but he's started holding till morning. Is doing great with our little dog and is very loving. Knows commands. We were told he had shots but no record was offered to them when talked to owner. I would like like to keep but with working we just can't. Is anyone interested in what is a great little dog?
